Terms of Use

Effective date: 22 July 2026 · Applies to the Aptxa mobile and web apps

These terms are an agreement between you and Aptxa ("we", "us") governing your use of the Aptxa application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What Aptxa is

Aptxa is a practice-management tool for solo practitioners: appointment scheduling, client records, payment tracking, and practice insights. It is a record-keeping and organisation tool — it does not process payments, provide medical or professional advice, or replace your professional judgement.

2. Your account

3. Your content and your responsibilities

You retain full ownership of the data you enter into Aptxa — client details, sessions, notes, and payment records. You grant us only the limited right to store and process that data in order to provide the Service to you.

You agree that you will:

4. Acceptable use

You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the Service, use it to send spam, or use automated means to access it other than through the interfaces we provide.

5. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Aptxa fast and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practical). We recommend keeping your own records of critical information.

6. Fees

Aptxa is currently free to use during its early-access period. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will announce them clearly in advance, and no charge will ever be applied without your explicit agreement.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the Service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
